The Angel Hotel

ex. Cardiff Angel/Barcelo Cardiff

Offering a restaurant and luggage storage, the historical The Angel Hotel Cardiff lies in Cardiff Centre, which is Wales' commercial and leisure hub, just 450 metres from the national Principality Stadium and around 25 minutes' walk from Mermaid Quay Shopping Mall. The 3-star hotel boasts views of Cardiff Castle and Wi-Fi in public areas.

The hotel is notable for its central location, merely 5 minutes on foot from the Victorian indoor Cardiff Market and in the vicinity of Cathays train station. Chapter Arts Centre is also located only 1.6 km from The Angel Cardiff. The beautifully ornate pleasure palace "Cardiff Castle" is about a 10-minute walk away. The nearest bus stop is Kingsway GA, 350 metres away.

Featuring views of Principality Stadium, the rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and such self-catering options as an electric kettle. These modern rooms are furnished with a carpeted floor, along with a writing table. The private bathrooms include a separate toilet, shower/tub combinations, and a deep soaking bathtub, as well as hairdryers and towels for guests' extra comfort. The rooms of The Angel Hotel offer views of the city.

The lounge bar provides you with a place to unwind. For British cuisine, try Elevens Bar & Grill which is approximately a 5-minute stroll away.

The breakfast was varied, warm for the price. This accommodation had a central setting helpful to us when we asked about transport etc. The stuff was decent at all times.

Fairly clean hotel, I really enjoyed staff and location. Visited their restaurant Castell's couple of times.

The bed was uncomfortable, unfortunately.

Impressive and fairly clean place with a nice reception. Prime and incredible location close to a glass-walled shopping mall. Got light, new-fashioned with essentials, bathroom, as for instance.

Attractive reasonably spacious hotel for a city break. We loved our bright rooms and the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was cheap and varied with plenty of options.

It was a really unforgettable stay, I would stay there again. Staff was attentive and hotel was spotlessly clean. Location near a sandy beach. Plus it was near restaurants and bars.

The hotel has high quality staff and location. It's found in a beautiful area, just a walk down to many landmarks of Cardiff. Efficient check-in, easy check-out. Would stay here again, I liked spending time there.

I loved location and staff and big bed. Room had a huge bathroom and coffee and sound-proofed windows. It was a nice quiet area, an amazing base for me. Also, it was the best place to enjoy castle quarter arcade. Simple check-in was a bonus. Moreover, there was free Wi-Fi!

Breakfast was nice and outstanding room service. The airport was 25 km away from here, accessible location. In addition, they have private parking on site.

City hall and other tourist destinations were situated within walking distance to this place. So close to a bus stop, easy to get around. Cardiff Centre district certainly deserves to be visited...

Nothing it is perfect.
